Key Areas of Responsibility

The Client Relationship Executive will be responsible for duties such as the following:

  • Ability to properly assess agency IT needs across all sub-agencies; create and prioritize a go to market plan and execute the plan
  • Ability to identify key contacts at all levels and develop meaningful relationships to understand agency mission objectives to drive core products and services offerings to solve agency IT goals
  • Influence the value chain amongst appropriate decision makers across the agency to enhance pipeline creation; develop & manage pipeline throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage and grow software and support agreements.
  • Strengthen manufacturer relationships through joint strategic teaming efforts, pipeline reviews, and , monthly cadence including uncovering new account opportunities and securing favorable pricing
  • Cultivate relationships with resources internally and externally to establish credibility and value to clients
  • Initiates and develops new innovations and integration of services by identifying new partnerships to solve client problems
  • Ability to lead contract negotiations as needed
  • Develop best practices to enhance current profitability or Uncover ways to make existing business more profitable (bids, warranties, etc.)
  • Maintain accountability for forecast through pipeline management, probability to win and timing for all opportunities
  • Manage complex projects and have the ability to prioritize must win opportunities
  • Develop and enter quotes and orders as needed
  • Manage purchase orders preorders, special pricing bids, order release, etc.
  • Sustain relationships with clients by providing quotes, order status updates, project status updates or other requests in a timely manner*Coordinate hardware staging with deployment services as needed
  • Manage client contract pricing (VIR and cost plus) and meet periodic reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with peers, manager and partners to refine and execute business development strategies

Client:

  • Prospect new contacts weekly
  • Develop and deliver quarterly business reviews to clients and leadership team to continue to build value and long term strategies alongside client
  • Participate in and represent company at industry and agency events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  5 years Sales or Sales Operations preferred
  • Understand agency mission objectives within DHS, NIH or HHS.

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to build relationships with C-level clients and aligned partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Understanding of Federal government contracting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience sales or sales operations
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
  • IT Sales Account Manager experience
  • Experience selling and marketing technical solutions and services including Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, Nutanix and Extrahop or their competitive equivalents.
