Goals
KNZ will launch a company-wide recycling program in 2024 to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from operational waste. The program will include designated recycling bins (for both electronics and standard paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass), new office signage, and an Environmental Sustainability Committee to champion the initiative. KNZ will procure a service to process the recycling on our behalf and will measure our success based on our diversion rate.
- KNZ’s goal is to increase our diversion rate (based on the weight of our collected recyclables in KNZ offices) by 30% by the end of 2025, thus ensuring less recyclable material is sent to landfills.
We are committed to sourcing IT needs with vendors that meet our standards for reducing carbon emissions and have product offerings that are energy efficient.
- KNZ commits to reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services by committing to source 70% of all company-owned employee devices from vendors that prioritize energy efficiency, utilize next life plastics, and consider responsible packaging methods.
- In 2024 we will determine our base C02e emissions level (utilizing the average data method) and commit to reducing our C02e emissions from these products by 25% by the end of 2026.
